Duties: This brand new role presents an exciting opportunity to join us at the ground floor of a new development, laying down a legacy for the next generation of new doctors, and influencing the health sector in WA. As a Senior Lecturer you will develop and coordinate the rural clinical training program and liaise with key stakeholders such as the Rural Clinical School WA (RCSWA) and Rural Health West. The role will require the successful candidate to spend a significant portion of their time in Kalgoorlie, and regular regional site visits to RCSWA sites and regional centres will be required

Beyond the initial 21 month contract, there is potential for a further contract to be offered to the successful candidate, dependant on future funding availability. Substantial academic teaching and research experience A background in healthcare (particularly medicine) or education is preferred. Previous rural (living or working) is highly desirable. Candidates must be able to commence between April and May 2019.
