Position: Project Manager Education AOTrauma Europe & Southern Africa

Duties: Planning and implementation of educational events for assigned countries in close collaboration with surgeons, industrial partners and other organizational units of the AO Foundation utilizing standardized processes and IT-tools. Managing needs assessment for faculty development and provides input to AO faculty development team. Event budget negotiation and budget planning with surgeons, industrial partners, controlling and regional team. Event-controlling and monitoring of financial performance of assigned events. Management of invoices, faculty reimbursements and handling of all contracts for assigned educational events
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher. Proven project management skills and strong process orientation. Strong financial acumen (e.g. budgeting, forecast, analysis). 5 years' experience in event planning and management (ideally in the medical space). Proven ability to influence and partner with diverse multi-functional teams across geographic boundaries. Very good communication skills in English, German is considered a plus. Strong service orientation and service mentality is desirable. Willingness to travel up to 25%

We are looking for a highly motivated personality for our office in Davos for the role of Project Manager Education AOTrauma Europa & Southern Africa In this role you will plan, coordinate and control all aspects of AOTrauma educational activities (e.g. courses, seminars, symposia) for assigned countries in the Europe & Southern African region (ESA).
