Duties: We are looking for a Finance officer to cover maternity leave from April 2019 - Jan 2020. The role will specialise in administering the financial activities of the Institute, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects including processing financial transactions, procurement, grant applications and management. The post will lead in achieving a high quality and timely service to staff, students and other internal and external stake holders to the department
Requirements: You will be educated to A Level or equivalent, or have acquired relevant experience. Knowledge of financial processes and regulations associated with general financial administration is essential. You will have proven consistent ability to meet individual and organisational deadlines and to manage own workload through effective prioritising, time management and organisational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential to this post, as is the need to provide an efficient, professional and effective service at all levels of the organisation
