Position: Senior Reserving Consultant

Duties: We require a Senior Consultant with a speciality in reserving to bolster our existing reserving team. Initially the role will be key to the delivery of a major client project using our programme. Going forward their reserving expertise will benefit the team on a variety of client projects and development work. As a key member of our team you will play a vital role in meeting the expectations of our clients through leading and managing teams of Consultants who are delivering high quality cutting-edge solutions and projects
Requirements: We are looking for applicants that are technically strong at reserving, who can collaborate with our team and our clients to deliver modelling solutions. We expect they will have the following experience and skillset: We would expect the candidate to be a nearly or newly qualified actuary with proven reserving-related experience. A strong, self-motivated team player that works collaboratively. Strong communicator and good at building relationships. Excellent organisational skills. Experience of managing people and teams. Educated to degree level with a minimum of a 2: 1 or equivalent qualification in a numerate, scientific or IT related discipline

We are looking for a Senior General Insurance Consultant with significant reserving knowledge and experience. We expect they will have the following experience and skillset: We would expect the candidate to be a nearly or newly qualified actuary with proven reserving-related experience A strong, self-motivated team player that works collaboratively Strong communicator and good at building relationships Excellent organisational skills Experience of managing people and teams Educated to degree level with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent qualification in a numerate, scientific or IT related discipline Desirable Experience of coding Experience developing actuarial modelling systems Experience of overseeing the delivery of actuarial tools Ideally the candidate will be a qualified Actuary and a member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland (or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries) General insurance experience is a necessity and preferably with a London Market background. Experience of reserving processes and of presenting results to management. Pricing experience of commercial or personal lines risks. A proactive individual who can work both independently and within the wider Actuarial team. Good interpersonal skills are a requisite for the role as the individual will be required to build relationships within the company.
