Duties: Applications are invited for a Research Assistant in the Dementia Research Centre and the Dementia Research Institute Fluid Biomarker Laboratory at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. The postholder will work on the international Genetic FTD Initiative (GENFI) helping to co-ordinate the project, taking responsibility for high quality data management and performing assays and other analyses. The postholder will be involved in data quality control, reconciliation and analysis and will maintain and update spreadsheets and databases for the GENFI project. S/he will work with member of the FTD and GENFI team on other research aspects of the studies
Requirements: Applicants will have an honours degree (minimum 2: 1) in neuroscience or a related discipline, with experience of performing laboratory assays such as ELISAs. Applicants will have experience with database management, will be meticulous and accurate in all aspects of work, and have strong problem solving abilities
