Position: Research Fellow - GetaMovOn Network

Duties: We are recruiting for a post in the UCL Interaction Centre to support the GetAMoveOn Network+. The post will involve taking a leading role in developing the impact of the network, which brings together experts in human computer interaction, health psychology, behaviour change, sensor networks, data analytics, interactive visualisation, sports and exercise science, and citizen engagement, with the aim of transforming health through enabling mobility with the help of digital technology
Requirements: Applicants should have obtained (or recently submitted) a PhD in a relevant subject (e.g. Human–Computer Interaction or Digital Health). Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HCI and enthusiasm for working on health-related topics. Applicants should have demonstrated potential for excellent research (e.g., as evidenced by their publication track record in international journals and conferences) and the capability and motivation to collaborate within an interdisciplinary research group

This cross-disciplinary network launched in 2016, funded by the EPSRC. The post will involve taking a leading role in developing the impact of the network, which brings together experts in human computer interaction, health psychology, behaviour change, sensor networks, data analytics, interactive visualisation, sports and exercise science, and citizen engagement, with the aim of transforming health through enabling mobility with the help of digital technology. The selected candidate will join the UCL Interaction Centre in the UCL Division of Psychology and Language Sciences, offering a diverse and stimulating research environment with great opportunities for training and career development in Human-Computer Interaction. The Centre also benefits from excellent peer support with its active community of researchers. The post is available immediately and funded for 12 months in the first instance.
