Minimum Job Requirements: This position will be filled at either the Development and Fabrication Tec 4 OR Development and Fabrication Tec 5 level, depending on the skills of the selected candidate. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if the candidate is hired at the higher level. Development and Fabrication Tech 4 ($60,400 - $95,900); Ability to work well as part of a close team as well as the ability to work independently; Experience in the set up and operation of specialized or standard test equipment to test and characterize the performance of electronic components, assemblies, or systems; Experience in the assembly of circuitry for electronic systems following engineering instructions, production specifications, and/or technical manuals; Ability to read schematics and interpret layout drawings; Ability to perform basic soldering and wiring jobs; Demonstrated creative solutions to technical issues; Demonstrated ability to follow documented electrical test and system integration procedures; Experience with general computer tools like spreadsheets and word-processing; This position requires a Q access authorization.
