Duties: Provides executive and administrative support to the Vice President for Finance & Administration (F&A) and Associate Vice President of F&A in a wide variety of areas including: completing special projects, preparing and reviewing correspondence, scheduling appointments and group meetings, and problem solving for day-to day operations of the office. Administrative support for the VP includes, but not limited to, managing travel, incoming and outgoing mail; incoming calls (provides responses and/or redirects calls); files (for correspondence, reports, and other documents); and all aspects of the Vice President’s calendar. Provides administrative assistance to the Chief of Staff for F&A as needed. Responsible for all functions related to travel arrangements for the Vice President for Finance & Administration, including making travel arrangements, obtaining receipts, and keying travel authorizations and expense reports. Travel and/or scheduling will involve activities on-campus as well as off-site locations. Also responsible for all functions related to Purchasing for the Vice President’s office, including keying requisitions, making purchases with a P-card, and tracking received items
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree and two years'experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years. Strong analytical and organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Experience directing and managing projects; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment; Computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or comparable software; Ability to work a flexible schedule to include occasional evening and weekend hours
