Position: HR Administrator

Duties: The post holder provides administrative support to one or more of a team of HR Business Partners
Requirements: Good general education to A level or equivalent experience, with good level of numeracy and literacy as evidenced by GCSE or equivalent qualifications; Excellent word processing skills (RSA II or equivalent); Proficiency in the use of other packages such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Ability to set up own systems using computer packages, e.g. spreadsheets, mail merge; Sound knowledge and appreciation of University procedures in own area; Proactive, and able to use own initiative to resolve issues as they arise; Ability to develop administrative systems through which to manage complex processes in an organised and professional manner; Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally; Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure; Ability to manage several important tasks simultaneously and adapt positively to changing priorities; Ability to forward plan around major tasks; The ability to relate to others and establish a good rapport with customers and colleagues maintaining a mindset and displaying excellent customer service at all times; The post holder must exercise complete discretion involving matters of a highly sensitive and confidential nature; Willingness to be flexible in relation to working hours or supporting the work of other teams as required
